Glass sculpture developed from investigation into the history of the electric light and gas vacuum tubes. Referencing the human pursuit to capture and store energy, Black Bulbs, incorporate neon light suspended between the polarities of dense black forms. Their darkness acts as a mechanism for inverting light, to prevent its escape and preserve its containment.
